According to a report from research firm Strategy Analytics, Samsung captured pure gold market share within the half-moon of the year, reordering Apple, that claimed nearly eighteen. It's price mentioning that Samsung had captured thirty first market within the year-ago quarter.
In terms of cargo numbers, the South Korean company shipped eighty three.2 million smartphones worldwide, whereas the Cupertino-based company shipped sixty one.2 million units.
"Samsung continued to face challenges in Asia et al, however its world performance has stabilised sufficiently well this quarter to overtake Apple and recapture initial position because the world's largest smartphone marketer by volume," aforesaid Strategy Analytics executive Neil Mawston.
